Table D'Hote (Set) Menu

Table d'Hote is a French phrase with the literal translation
of 'host's table'. The original meaning was "a public meal served (at a common table) at a stated hour and at
a fixed price". Eventually, the elements required for a meal where
guests eat together, at the same table at the same time, fell away so that
the phrase persisted with only the fixed price (prix fixe) element
remaining.
Our Table d'Hote Menu is available all day
Tuesday - Friday, and Saturday Lunchtimes.
Homemade Soup of the Day
Drizzled with cream and Herb Pot oil
Warm Tomato Salad
Baked & topped with a herb crust and served on a bed of salad leaves
with a balsamic vinegar
Homemade Fishcake
Trout, with a hint of chilli. Served with salad leaves

Fresh Chicken Breast
Griddled, and finished in the oven with a honey & mustard dressing and
garnished with rocket leaves
Fillet of Salmon
Baked and served with crispy potatoes and puy lentils, dressed in a warm
vinaigrette
Vegetable Tart
Roasted vegetables in a filo pastry case and topped with Goat's cheese
Entrecote Steak (250g)
With mushroom and tomato garnish

At the Herb Pot we feel that vegetables and
potatoes form part of your meal, and these are served with all main
courses at no additional cost
